Preschool Classes
Birth - 5 years
Children acquire faith, little by little, starting from birth. Our Preschool Division helps lay the foundation for a child’s spiritual development, centered around God, Jesus, family, self-worth, other relationships and the world about them, based on Biblical truths.

Children's Classes, Grade 1 - Grade 5
As a part of the Sunday morning Bible Study, children will become familiar with the names and stories of God, Jesus, and Bible personalities, and key events recorded in the Bible. They will learn about the need for forgiveness of their sin through faith in Jesus. They will be guided to embrace Christian attitudes toward self, others, their family and the world around them. They will be introduced to Christian service, with an emphasis on ministering and witnessing to others. Classes are grouped by school grade and provide learning activities and experiences that are developmentally age appropriate.

Youth Classes, Grades 6-12
Youth are led to explore their relationship to God and the world around them. They learn what the Bible teaches about how Christian faith affects all areas of life and the choices they make. Young people are invited to accept Christ into their lives and are challenge to live out their faith daily.

College Class
The College Sunday School Class ministers to students from VMI and W&L. It builds and challenge our faith in Jesus Christ through Bible study and meals together.

Welcome to Lexington College Students!

Manly Memorial Baptist Church (MMBC) will hold a Sunday morning Bible study class for students from W&L and VMI beginning September 5 at 10:00 a.m. Come early and enjoy coffee and donuts before the class. The purpose of the class is to provide spiritual support while you make your way through all the life-changing events that occur through your college years. This year, the class will focus on Luke-Acts. Lucy Wilkins is the study leader and she will meet you at the Preston St. entrance. The church is located at the corner of Main St and Preston St. in Lexington. Come, and feed your spirit. A strong spirit creates a strong life.

Adult Classes
We believe growing disciples of Jesus Christ are always exploring and applying the truth of the Scriptures. Whether the study and application of Biblical truth is a new experience to you, or you have made the Bible your guidebook through life, Manly Memorial offers a broad range of opportunities for adults of all ages to study the Bible within a community of friendship, spiritual growth, and mutual encouragement. Although our classes are varied in composition, format, teaching style, and study materials, all are committed to Biblically based study as the primary means of discovering God’s truth for life and work.  

Senior Ladies Class – currently using Lifeway’s “Family Bible Study.”
Senior Men’s Class – currently using Lifeway’s “Family Bible Study.”
Fellowship Class – A Bible Study class for adult men and women of all ages.
