Our church also serves as the meeting place of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (formerly Baptist Student Union) for Washington and Lee University and Virginia Military Institute. During the school year, they meet at Manly Memorial on Tuesday nights at 6:15 PM for Bible study, fellowship, and a meal.

College Ministry

As part of our ministry to students, each year interested students are paired with host families in the church to provide a “home away from home.” At a minimum, this relationship offers the student a chance to receive some home cooked meals and a place to relax away from the dorm room. Students and their host families decide on the frequency of their getting together. If someone is interested in being a part of the adoption ministry, they should contact the church office.

College Class
The College Sunday School Class ministers to students from VMI and W&L. It builds and challenge our faith in Jesus Christ through Bible study and meals together.
